The healing art of Sat Nam Rasayan

“Shuniya means zero. The moment you become zero, then all powers will prevail through you” – Yogi Bhajan

What is Sat Nam Rasayan?

Sat Nam Rasayan means “Deep relaxation in the true identity”. It is an ancient meditation technique and healing art in the tradition of Kundalini Yoga. When you enter a state of Sat Nam Rasayan you becoming nothing and simply operate from the state of shuniya. The mind of the Sat Nam Rasayan practitioner becomes transcendent and in the vastness of this consciousness, healing can occur. Traditionally this art was taught to heal others. It helps to release tendencies and limitations in body, mind and emotions (the common reasons for sickness). The self healing powers of the body become activated and we are able to meet life in a more balanced and clear state. Sat Nam Rasayan is free from dogmatism, religion and belief systems. It does not only help yoga practitioners and therapists but any interested person who wishes to sharpen the senses and learn meditation and a meditative healing technique.

Meditation brings two things:
  • Wisdom, you know what is and what is not
  • Freedom, you know now there are no longer any limitations on you, either of time or of space. You become liberated.
Sat Nam Rasayan works on a subtle level through the projective meditative mind. It allows the healer to access and balance the five elements (earth, water, fire, air and ether) and the pranic body. The process involves holding a neutral, contemplative state of awareness of everything – in the beginning this means “all sensations” and then allowing the resistances to change and/or release as you continue to hold your state of awareness
